Instructional Excellence: This CTE Instruction Academy enhances teaching impact with expert tools and strategies.
Catapult’s Instructional Excellence program is estimated at approximately 21 hours spread across the entire term:

Pre-masterclass team/department expectation meeting and onboarding/orientation (30 minutes)

13 asynchronous masterclasses (8.5 hours)
-
6 live coaching/Q&A sessions (30-45 minutes each; 4.5 hours)
-
30 minutes per masterclass reflecting, learning, and planning in each Catapult Playbook (6.5 hours)

Post-masterclass team debrief and action planning session (1 hour)
Also, in addition to PDP hours, all participants are eligible for 2 units of undergraduate or graduate credits through our partner University of Central Missouri. Details here.

Blackstone Valley Hub for Workforce Development is dedicated to creating a strong and diverse workforce in the Blackstone Valley region and beyond. We offer a wide range of workforce development services, including job training, career counseling, school partnerships, and apprenticeship training. Our goal is to help individuals develop the skills they need to succeed in the workforce, and to help businesses find the talent they need to grow and thrive.
The Hub is a YouthWorks provider through DESE and Central MassHire as well as offers the Partnered School Program from school districts prioritizing preparing students for current workforce needs. Our vast partnerships with regional industry as well as support from the state legislation and private donors facilitates our expanding vocational training courses and career placement for those we serve. Our offerings are assessed for effectiveness and adherence to labor market trends by our experienced staff and Board of Directors. We pride ourselves on continuing to meet the current needs of students, businesses, and our regional economy by ensuring our programs are relevant and offerings are adjusted appropriately to reflect workforce trends.
